Close-Up Photographer of the Year is Now Accepting Submissions

Close-up Photographer of the Year (CUPOTY) has announced the fourth edition of the contest. Open to both professional and amateur photographers, the grand title winner will receive 2500 pounds (approx. Rs. 2,48,261), while the category winners will be bestowed with 250 pounds (approx. Rs. 24,826). The winner of the Young Close-up Photographer of the Year will be awarded a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art lens, Sigma USB Dock and a trophy.

This year, the jury will comprise of David Maitland, Rachael Talibart, Ross Hoddinott, Keith Wilson, Wim van Egmond, and Chief Editor of Better Photography, K Madhavan Pillai.
The contest has 10 categories—Animals, Insects, Plants, Fungi, Intimate Landscape, Manmade and Micro, Young Close-up Photographer of the Year, Underwater, Butterflies & Dragonflies, and one new addition, Invertebrate Portrait. The last edition received over 9000 entries from across the globe.
