Close-Up Photographer of the Year is Now Accepting Entries

 

Close-up Photographer of the Year (CUPOTY) has announced the third edition of the contest. The annual competition showcases the best close-up, macro and micro photography from around the world. The grand title winner will receive 2500 pounds (approx. Rs. 2,55,935), and the category winners will be bestowed with 300 pounds (approx. Rs. 30,712).

The eminent jury includes David Doubilet, Nadia Aly, Frank Deschandol, Kathy Moran, Sue Bishop, CUPOTY co-founder Tracy Calder, and Chief Editor of BetterPhotography, K Madhavan Pillai, amongst others.

The contest has nine categories— Animals, Insects, Plants and Fungi, Intimate Landscape, Man-made and Micro, Young Close-up Photographer of the Year, and two new additions, Butterflies and Dragonflies,
and Underwater.
