Your Pictures Special Feature: Decemeber 2012

 

Thane Muncipal Corporation and FOTO Circle Society, Thane organised the photo competition Aavishkar 2012. The competition is in its 14th year and received over 17,000 entries from various districts all over Maharashtra. Partcipants sent their pictures in four catgeories— Reflection, My Thane District, Places of Worship and Rain. Better Photography’s Technical Editor Shridhar Kunte, along with photographers Amrita Ganguly Salian and Milind Ketkar judged the contest. Of the 17,000 entries, FOTO Circle Society displayed around 275 photographs at an exhibition in Thane.
